Sarah Jane creates her pieces from sculpting knitted wire. The wire is moulded and tails and legs are added separately and hand-stitched.

		Glover & Smith are members of The Association of British Pewter Craftsmen.  Modern pewter is 92% pure tin and added to this are small amounts of copper and other metals to give additional strength. It does not need polishing like silver and it does not go grey like old pewter (this is the lead content)
